01About the shop
Summer to winter, trailhead to summit.
Located at the gateway to both the Gifford Pinchot and Mt St Helens wilderness areas, we stock summer and winter supplies alike — apparel, fishing gear, kayaks, snowshoes, camping equipment and military surplus. Our rental department keeps snowshoes, SUP boards and more ready to go.
Most people come in for one thing and leave with a plan. The counter is where trail and road conditions get talked through, where surplus wool layers get tried on, and where rental gear is fitted and loaded before you head out. Whether you are packing for a weekend on the river or a morning on snow, we would rather send you out with the right things than more things.

Before you head out.
Do I need to reserve rentals ahead of time?

Walk-ins are welcome, but weekends fill fast in snow season — call ahead and we'll set gear aside for you.
What's included in the ski package?

Cross country skis, boots and poles, fitted in the shop before you leave.
Do you buy or trade surplus gear?

Bring it by the counter. We look at surplus and quality used outdoor gear case by case.
Where should we go?
